SUPPORTING CHILDREN'S SERVICES ACROSS ARGYLL AND BUTE
We support, empower, and provide high quality resources to the wider network of children's services in Argyll. Over the past 3 years we have represented the Third Sector in most areas of planning and provision of services. We currently sit on Argyll and Butes Children who create, implement and monitor the Childrens service plan for our Local Authority. We sit on the board for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health who provide a similar function for NHS Highland. We have written and published guidance and policy for Child Protection and currently chair the Learning and Development sub-group for our Child Protection committee. Part of this work will include training for Trustees with responsibility for child protection. Please click on the links below for more information on our work

Keeping our children safe
Published in 2022, our Guidance and Policy sits on our Local Authority web site for any organisation to access. In addition to this, organisations can also access training for their boards to better understand procedure, policy and responsibility. Our Co-production has proven to be a powerful tool for Let's Grow Kid's UK to successfully serve our community and improve countless lives.
